Skin Aftercare

Use a Sea Salt Soak solution.  Mix 1/8 teaspoon of Natural Sea salt with 8 ounces of warm clean water. Mix well, as the salt does not like to re-mix with the water after separation. You can use a Medicine cup or cotton balls to apply the sea salt soak solution. Saturate the piercing with the solution for ten minutes. After that,  all of the crusty stuff will be like wet cardboard and will be ready to be wiped off. Then wet a q-tip and gently rub on and around the wound. Wet another q-tip and vigorously rub between the ball or balls and the post. Also, rub on any other part of the jewelry to be sure you removed any small particles that remain. The bar or hoop should now slide back and forth through the wound very easily. If it does move easily, the jewelry is probably very clean. Clean is a must for your piercing to heal quickly! Your body flushes white blood cells, an oily secretion, along with dead tissue, that must be removed in order to have a healthy healing. Keep your wound clean by following these steps only! Do not use any other product on your piercing unless you call us and ask for advice first. Tea tree oil is not to clean your piercing and is for a very specific use. Do not use tea tree oil without consulting us as it can make your piercing dirtier and cause infections. No not use alcohol, hydrogen peroxide or any other over the counter product without consulting us. Do not ask the corner piercer or your friends for advice. Please call us because we will always be happy to help. 714-374-7393. Thank You!

Do not touch your piercing or jewelry! This is the most important part of the healing process. Germs and bacteria on your hands are the most common way of infecting your piercing. Only touch your piercing after washing your hands with warm water and anti-bacterial soap.
