Bianca got pierced at a tattoo expo in Fairfax and they used a 316L industrial surgical steel barbell for her industrial. She thought, why not? Unfortunately, she did not know the difference between industrial surgical steel and medical grade surgical steel.Industrial surgical steel is certified to make nuts and bolts and typically has external threading, while medical grade surgical steel is certified to be in your body and has internal threading. Know what kind of metal your piercer is using!!! Don't be afraid to ask or else something like this might happen...
